To prepare for an interview, practice visualization everyday so you are trained to think positively.
An interview can set off butterflies’, in the tummy, especially if it’s your very first. How do you banish these butterflies? The key lies in relaxing from head to toe. Many people for¬ get to relax and botch up something, all because of panic attacks. Being nervous isn’t something bad. It’s always better to be a little nervous than to strut in, in an overconfident way.
We hate to fail. We also hate the thought of rejection. No wonder we get so nervous. But thinking positive can clear the mess that you might. Before an interview, rehearse it as much as you can. It doesn’t matter if, the questions you ask aren’t likely to be asked at the real interview. As long as you are able to answer with confidence, you will know that you can take on anything. The key lies in giving a detailed performance. Stand in front of your mirror and visualize the scene. Every management book you pick up will tell you that only if you see yourself doing something with poise and confidence,. and if you see your self as a winner, will you be able to achieve great results. Visualize your success and confidence.
Don’t undermine the power of your imagination you can use it to your advantage. Thinking of something positively inevitably gives you positive results. The same goes for negative thinking. Practice visualization everyday for at least half an hour so that you are trained to think positively, and you may end up surprising not only the interviewer, but yourself as well.
All the best.
